The intent is for you to become comfortable using the full program capabilities to view, update and manage your subscriptions and services.
The Help file is set up to help you program your data card in sequential order from logging in through downloading the data, placing the information on the data card, and assisting with any errors you may come across.
The following list describes the conventions used in the online help file:
The Help file refers to the Jeppesen Services Update Manager as JSUM.
Bold text represents commands on menus (including right-click menus), buttons, nested menu structures, and elements on a dialog box (such as tabs and check boxes).
The greater than (>) symbol represents nested menus. For example, the image below is described as Options > Preferences.

File names and directory locations are shown in monospace font.
Blue text or blue underlined text links to related a Help page, text popup, Internet web site, or email address. The color changes to purple after you've visited a link. (The colors may be different depending on your Windows system color scheme.)
Click on the bold blue text.
Use the browsers Back/Previous button to return to previously-visited topics, or the Forward/Next button to return to the present topic after using the Back button.
A comprehensive index has been placed in the online help file to assist in your search for useful topics. To find a topic using the index, click Index above the Help file table of contents. Type a keyword into the input area and view the results of the search.
